Import events from Squarespace
Turn the service products in your connected Squarespace catalog into Eventually draft events: pick the products, confirm each product's event details, and create drafts. Selecting products changes nothing in your Squarespace store. Drafts are created only when you confirm.
Before you start
Your Squarespace site must be connected to Eventually. The Import from Squarespace option appears on the Events page only when a site is connected. For connection steps, see Connect your Squarespace site.
Pick your products
The import lists the service products from your Squarespace catalog and queues the ones you pick for confirmation. Only service products are offered; other product types are not.
Open Events in the left sidebar.
Open the Import Events menu next to New event and choose Import from Squarespace.
On the Import from Squarespace page, select the products you want to turn into events.
Click Import products, or Import 1 product or Import N products when the count is one or more.
This puts your picks in a waiting-to-confirm state. It does not create draft events yet.
Products you have already imported or picked before show a badge instead of a checkbox: Imported with a View the imported event link, or Waiting to confirm with a Confirm it link. You cannot select them again.
If your catalog has no service products, the page shows No service products found with a Check again button. When products are listed, use Refresh products to reload the list. The same flow is also available inside first-run onboarding: the import entry there leads into the same product picking and confirmation.
Confirm event details
The Confirm your Squarespace imports page shows one card per product with the event details prefilled from the Squarespace listing. Review or edit every detail on each card:
Event title
Date and time
Time zone
Location: the venue, address, and hours read from the product page
Price and seats for each ticket type, with ticket types coming from the product's variants
To confirm the suggested values in bulk, use Accept all prices and seats or Accept all suggested dates. Bulk actions apply only to the items shown on the page.
Create drafts or save items for later
When a card's details look right, create its draft. You can also hold items back and finish them later, or dismiss a product you do not want to import.
For a single product, click Create draft on its card.
For several ready items at once, click Create drafts, or Create 1 draft or Create N drafts when the count is one or more.
To finish the rest later, click Save to confirm later, or Save the rest to confirm later when some items are already confirmed.
To skip a product, click Don't import on its card. You can pick it again later.
Saved items stay waiting to confirm. The Events page shows a link and a count for Squarespace products still awaiting confirmation, and the import page shows Confirm N waiting for waiting products, so you can get back to the confirmation page anytime.
What happens to the original Squarespace product
Each event you create is an independent copy of the Squarespace product. The event is not linked to the product: edits to the original product never sync into the imported event, and sync never rewrites it. For what sync does and does not cover, see How Squarespace sync works.
The event's overall capacity starts at your plan's attendees-per-event limit. The seats you confirm for each ticket type are a separate value. For how the two interact, see Set event capacity and ticket limits.
Selecting a product or creating its draft does not hide the original product in your Squarespace store. The original is hidden only after the imported event is published and the event's own Squarespace product is live in the store.
After the original product is hidden, unpublishing or deleting the imported event does not make it visible again. There is no automatic restore.
