Creating Events

Add multiple images to an event

Events can include multiple images instead of a single cover image. When visitors view your event in the calendar widget, they see these images as a gallery you can customize.

Add images to your event

  1. Open your event in the Eventually dashboard.

  2. In the event editor, find the Images section.

  3. Click Upload or drag and drop images into the upload area.

  4. Continue adding images until you have all the photos you want to display.

You can add up to 10 images per event. Each image must be 5 MB or smaller.

Reorder your images

The first image in your list appears as the main image. Additional images display in the order you arrange them.

To reorder images, drag and drop them into your preferred sequence. The images save automatically in the new order.

How visitors interact with your event images depends on your widget settings:

  • Thumbnails — Multiple images appear as small preview thumbnails below the main image. Visitors click thumbnails to view larger versions.

  • Arrows — Images display in a carousel with navigation arrows. Visitors use arrows to cycle through photos.

You choose the gallery style in your widget display settings. For step-by-step instructions, see Set up your calendar widget.

Best practices

  • Use high-quality images that represent your event accurately.

  • Lead with your strongest image—it appears first in listings and gallery previews.

  • Keep images under 5 MB by resizing or compressing large files before uploading.
