Get started with Eventually

When you first log in to Eventually, you'll see a Getting Started section in the sidebar with steps to set up your account. This guide walks you through connecting your Squarespace site and creating your first event.

Getting Started checklist

From your dashboard, look at the Getting Started section in the leftsidebar. It shows the basic setup steps to get your event ticketing running.

The checklist includes connecting your website and creating your first event. Click each item to navigate directly to that setup step.

Connect your Squarespace site

Connecting your Squarespace site enables native checkout for your events. When customers purchase tickets, they stay on your site and pay through Squarespace Commerce with your existing payment processor.

To connect:

1. From your dashboard, click Connect your website in the Getting Started section, or navigate to Settings then Payments & Sites.

2. UnderSquarespace Commerce, click Connect Your Squarespace Site.

3. You'll be redirected to Squarespace to authorize the connection. Log in to your Squarespace account and grant permission.

4. After authorizing, you'll return to Eventually with your site connected.

Create your first event

After connecting your site, click Create your first event in the Getting Started section, or navigate to Events and click New event.

From the Events page, you can also import existing events from another platform using the Import Events button. See Import events from a CSV file for details.

What's next

• Set event capacity and ticket limits — Control total attendance and per-ticket availability.

• Choose when to collect attendee details — Decide whether to collect registration fields before checkout, after purchase, or not at all.

• Configure automated email sequences for reminders and follow-ups.

• Add team members if you're managing events collaboratively.
