Using Evie (AI) to create an event

Evie is Eventually’s AI-powered event creation assistant. Describe your event in plain language from the Squarespace admin panel, and Evie generates a draft event in your Eventually dashboard that you can review, edit, and publish.

Create an event with Evie

  1. In the Squarespace admin panel, open the Ask Evie prompt.

  2. Describe your event in plain language. You can include details like the event name, date, time, price, capacity, and any special notes.

    Try a description like: “Watercolor class March 31st, 100 people, $50 or $100 with supplies”

  3. Click Set up event → to submit your description.

  4. Wait while Evie processes the request. You will see a Setting up… state while the draft is being created.

  5. When you see Draft event created!, click Finish setting up → to open the draft in your Eventually dashboard.

Review and publish the draft

Evie creates a draft event, not a published event. After the draft opens in the Eventually dashboard, review the details, adjust any fields, and publish when you are ready.

Prompt limits

Each prompt is limited to 1000 characters. Keep your description concise and focused on the key event details.
