The onboarding wizard

When you create a new Eventually account, the onboarding wizard guides you through the essential setup steps: connecting your Squarespace site, configuring your brand, importing events, and creating your first event.

Step 1: Connect your Squarespace site

The wizard prompts you to connect your Squarespace site first. This enables native checkout through Squarespace Commerce and lets you embed the calendar widget on your pages.

You'll need admin access to the Squarespace site you want to connect. The authorization flow redirects you to Squarespace to grant permission, then returns you to Eventually with your site linked.

For detailed instructions, see Connect your Squarespace site.

Step 2: Set up your brand

Configure how your event pages and emails appear to attendees:

  • Logo — Upload your logo to display on confirmation emails and event pages.

  • Brand name — The name that appears instead of "Eventually" in attendee-facing pages.

  • Sender details — The name and email address attendees see on automated emails.

For full branding including custom sender addresses, see Brand settings: colors, logo, and fonts.

Step 3: Import or create events

If you have existing events on another platform, you can import them from:

Step 4: Go live

After you connect your site, set up your brand, and create events, choose a plan and click Go live to activate your account. While you are in demo mode, you can publish events and preview your setup, but registrations, branded emails, and integrations stay off until you go live.

To complete this step:

  1. Open the Getting Started checklist, or go to Settings and select Billing.

  2. Review the available plans and select one, or choose Continue on Free.

  3. Click Go live.

After going live, your dashboard shows a confirmation and your events are open for registration. For full details, see Go live with your account.

From here you can:

Skip and return later

You can exit the wizard at any time and complete setup later. The dashboard shows your progress and lets you resume unfinished steps from the Getting Started section.
