Add a guest to an event manually
Add guests directly from your event page to record walk-ins or manual signups. You can add one guest at a time or paste a list for bulk registration.
Open the Add Guest panel
From your Eventually dashboard, navigate to Events.
Select the event you want to add guests to.
Find the Guests section. This shows your current attendee count and any checked-in guests.
Click Add Guest to open the registration panel.
You can find this option in the event attendees area, not on the public registration page. Organizers manage guests from their dashboard.
Adding one guest
In single-add mode, fill out the guest details:
Full Name — The guest's complete name.
Email Address — The email to associate with the ticket.
Ticket Type — Select which ticket type to assign. If your event has multiple ticket types, choose the appropriate one from the dropdown.
If your event has custom registration questions configured, any required fields appear below these basics. Complete all required fields before saving.
Click Register Attendee to add the guest to your attendee list.
Adding multiple guests at once
Use bulk paste mode to add several guests quickly:
In the Add Guest panel, switch to Paste list mode.
Guest list — Enter one guest per line using this format:
Name, EmailTicket Type — Select the ticket type to assign to all guests in your list.
Click Add N guest(s) to process the list.
Lines without an @ symbol are automatically skipped. If a line doesn't contain a valid email format, that entry won't be processed.
After processing, you'll see results inline:
X added — The number of guests successfully added.
Y failed — Any entries that couldn't be processed.
Individual error lines explain why specific entries failed.
Capacity warnings
If your event is at capacity, you'll see a warning:
This event is at capacity. Adding an attendee will exceed the limit.
You can still proceed to add guests beyond capacity if you choose to oversell.
Walk-in and manual registrations
Newly added guests appear in your Guests section immediately. You can check them in from the Check-in tab by searching for their name or email and pressing Enter. For a focused door workflow that covers adding and checking in unregistered attendees, see Check in walk-in guests. From the guest list you can also:
Export your attendee list as a CSV using Export
Check in guests using QR codes — see Using QR code check-in
