Free events and the RSVP flow
Eventually supports free events with a simple RSVP-style registration flow. When you create a free event, attendees register without going through the full Squarespace Commerce checkout process — they provide their information and receive a confirmation without payment.
How free events work
Free events in Eventually use a streamlined registration flow designed for speed and simplicity:
No payment required — Attendees skip the payment step and go directly to registration
Custom attendee questions follow your Collect details setting — Before, After, or Off. Name and email are always collected during RSVP regardless of the setting.
Confirmation email sent — Attendees receive a branded confirmation with their ticket details and QR code for check-in
