Troubleshoot the Eventually panel in Squarespace

This is expected, not a failure. The Eventually panel activates only in Squarespace admin or edit mode; it does nothing on the public-facing site.

The panel script is missing or carrying an invalid site ID, so it stops before it can connect. Reinstall the panel from the connection flow so the script carries a valid site ID for your site. If the message names your team, confirm you're a member of that site's team (see Roles and permissions).

The popup must be opened from the panel in Squarespace admin, not from a public page or a direct link. Open the panel in Squarespace admin and launch the popup from there.

The page requesting the panel isn't the connected site or one of its approved Squarespace built-in domains. Open the panel from the connected site or its approved Squarespace built-in domain.

Panel connections last 12 hours and don't auto-renew. After they expire, the panel clears its cached session and returns to the connection flow — "Connect to Eventually" and "Sign in to connect →" — rather than stopping. Reconnect by signing in again.

Removing a user from the site team invalidates that user's panel access immediately, even mid-session, and the panel returns to the connection flow. To use the panel again, have the user added back to the site team and sign in again.

The panel failed to load your events. Reopen the panel to try again.

Panel popup failures show "Please sign in to Eventually again.", "Could not create a panel session.", or "Could not reach Eventually. Try again." Sign in to Eventually again, then reopen the panel and try again.

Excessive requests can hit a temporary per-user limit, and the panel returns "Too many requests." Wait a moment and retry.
