Set your sender name and reply-to address
Set the name guests see in their inbox and the address their replies go to under Communications, in the Sender section. These settings apply to every email Eventually sends for your team, including confirmations, reminders, and broadcasts.
Set the sender fields
Open Communications in your dashboard.
In the Sender section, fill in the fields you want to change:
From name — The name guests see in their inbox. Use your business name rather than a person's, unless a person is the point of contact.
Reply-to — Where replies land. Point this at an inbox someone actually reads.
Email signature — Appended to the bottom of every outgoing email.
Save your changes.
What you can and cannot change
You control the display name, the reply-to address, and the signature. The underlying sending address belongs to Eventually and cannot be changed to your own domain yet, which is why no DNS or domain verification is involved.
In practice a guest sees your business name in the From line, and a reply reaches your inbox because of the reply-to address. Set the reply-to even if you are happy with everything else: without it, replies have nowhere useful to go.
Send yourself a test from any email template after changing these fields, then check how the From name and reply-to look in a real inbox rather than in the preview.
Branding the rest of the email
Colors, logo, and fonts come from your brand settings rather than this section. See Branding your emails.
