Build branded emails with layout blocks and source view
The email template builder includes layout blocks and a source view so you can create richer branded emails. Every template in Communications — including Ticket Transfer — uses the same editor, live preview, merge tags, and branded rendering.
Open an email template
Go to Communications in your Eventually dashboard.
Select the email template card you want to customize.
Edit the Subject Line and Email Body in the editor.
Add layout blocks
Use the editor to add layout blocks that structure your email:
Button — Add a call-to-action link.
Divider — Insert a horizontal line to separate sections.
Spacer — Add vertical space between content.
Columns — Arrange content side by side.
Switch to Source view
Toggle between Visual and Source to edit HTML directly.
Switching back to Visual mode strips inline styles and formatting from your HTML. Continue only if you are ready to lose those styles.
Insert image and logo placeholders
Use merge tags to add dynamic images and your brand logo:
{{event_image}}— Displays the event's featured image.{{brand_logo}}— Displays your brand logo.
Available tags appear as clickable options in the editor.
Save and preview
Review your changes in the Live Preview panel, which shows real data from your most recent event.
Click Save template to apply your changes.
Ticket Transfer template
The Ticket transfer template works in the editor the same way as confirmation and other automated emails. The branded HTML layout matches your brand colors, fonts, and logo, and the fixed Confirm Transfer action is rendered alongside your custom subject and body.
