Domain verification is no longer required for branding
Domain verification used to be required to unlock full branding features, but that requirement has been removed. Your logo, brand name, and fonts are available as soon as you connect your Squarespace site and sync your brand.
How branding works now
Connecting your Squarespace site is the proof-of-ownership path for branding. Once connected, open Settings → Brand and click Sync from Squarespace to import your logo, colors, palette, and fonts. The branding settings apply immediately to the hosted public event page, the calendar widget, and outgoing emails.
What changed
The old Verify your domain step and the DNS TXT record are no longer part of the branding setup.
The daily DNS re-verification job has been removed.
Outgoing emails use the configured brand name immediately, without waiting for verification.
If you previously added a DNS TXT record for verification, you can remove it. Your existing branding settings remain active.
Need help?
If your branding is not showing as expected, make sure your Squarespace site is connected and that you have synced your brand in Settings → Brand. For manual adjustments, see Brand settings: colors, logo, and fonts.
