Plan checkout shows a pending or verification state

After paying for an Eventually plan with a bank account, the billing page or welcome flow may show a pending or verification notice rather than an immediate success message. This is expected behavior for ACH Direct Debit and does not mean checkout failed.

Your bank payment is processing

Symptom: The billing page shows Your bank payment is processing — typically up to 4 business days. Your plan is active in the meantime.

Cause: You paid by ACH Direct Debit. The debit has been initiated and your plan is active, but the bank transfer typically takes up to 4 business days to fully settle.

Fix: No action is needed. Your plan features are already available. The notice clears automatically when the payment settles.

Your bank account still needs verification

Symptom: The billing page shows Your bank account still needs verification — your plan activates once payment completes.

Cause: Stripe requires microdeposit verification before the ACH debit can begin. This is a standard security step for new bank accounts.

Fix: Click Verify your bank account on the billing page if a link is available, or check your email for Stripe's microdeposit verification link. Once verified, the debit initiates and your plan activates.

Welcome flow shows a pending payment

Symptom: Revisiting the welcome page during onboarding shows a pending view instead of the checkout form.

Cause: Your first payment is still processing or requires verification.

Fix: For processing payments, no action is needed. For verification, follow the link on the page or check your email. You can click Continue to dashboard to start using Eventually while the payment completes.
